As we head into a new year, let’s take what worked from last year and create an even more nourishing 2022.

Use these four questions to reflect on the past year, and grow your self-care in 2022:

  1. What worked last year that I want to keep this year?

  2. Which self-care category is important to me this year? Categories include: emotional, physical, relational, occupational, cultural and spiritual self-care. Take this assessment if you want some help identifying your target self-care categories.

  3. Write down your self-care mantra for the year. Example: "My needs are important too."

  4. What is one wild self-care dream? How can I make part or all of it come true in this year?

You can also access a 20-minute webinar featuring my Top 20 Self-Care Rituals of all time in addition to your Top 20 poster and article. Join the Parent Self-Care email list to get the self-care goodies.

As we enter another year of pandemic parenting, my wish is that these self-care rituals will bring you joy, calm and compassion. Most of these practices can be completed in under a minute, so I hope there are many things that you can implement with ease.

May these self-care practices help you as much as they have helped me and the other parents I’ve worked with over the years.
