Family Gratitude Game
Written by Kristi Yeh, LMFT
Enjoy your free family gratitude game for the holidays. Gratitude is a practice, and the more you practice the skill the more you reap the benefits of a grateful heart!
Game Instructions:
Have each family member pick a color. You can use candy, paper, pipe cleaners, etc. Keep it simple and find something in your home already!
Go around in a circle and have each family member answer the question that matches their color.
If kids are old enough, let them take turns being in charge and holding the question sheet.
You can always make up your own questions with your family as well!
You might even jot down some of the answers and put them up on the refrigerator.
This game is great to do before family meals.
There are more wonderful gratitude resources for children from Big Life Journal, and my favorite book to incorporate more gratitude into my life is, “The Gifts of Imperfection,” by Brené Brown.
